Getting on and off the floor is an important part of an overall fall prevention plan. 

If you are someone who does not have a strategy for getting up from the floor, I encourage you to watch this video. 

Having a strategy is good, but practicing your strategy on a regular basis allows it to become instinctive. 

Knowing that you are able to get up from the floor reduces the fear of falling.
