Introduction to the Course

Vertebral compression fractures can affect you regardless of your age.

Some of you will have a single 20% compression after breast cancer treatment in your 40’s while some of you may have more severe compression at a younger age from genetics or eating disorders.

The majority of you will likely be in your post-menopausal years.

The goal of this course is to provide you with the knowledge to:

  1. Understand the different types of compression that exist and how they occur

  2. Be able to make healthy choices for your bones

  3. Make day to day activities more manageable.

  4. Reduce your risk of sustaining future compression as well as reducing the risk of worsening the compressions you currently have.

The beauty of producing a “streaming” course is that it can be modified, expanded and changed…
