MelioGuide Video Programme Terms

Version 2026-10. Effective October 2023.

These terms apply to all pre-recorded videos, courses, and digital exercise programmes sold by MelioGuide Limited (“MelioGuide”, “we”), including purchases on learn.melioguide.com.

1. What you are buying

You are buying a licence to watch pre-recorded educational content. The content explains exercise principles used by people with low bone density, osteopenia, or osteoporosis. It is general information. It is not a diagnosis, treatment plan, prescription, physiotherapy service, or personal-training service.

2. No clinician–patient or coach–client relationship

Watching or purchasing a video does not create a clinician–patient, physiotherapist–client, or coach–client relationship with Margaret Martin, MelioGuide, or any presenter. Although Margaret Martin is trained as a physical therapist, she is not your physical therapist.

3. You must decide if this is appropriate for you

We do not review your DEXA scan, medical history, medications, or movement quality before you buy a video. Suitability is your decision, made with your own physician, physiotherapist, or other qualified clinician. Do not start if your clinician advises against it.

4. Assumption of risk

Exercise can cause muscle soreness, falls, joint injury, and, in people with low bone density, fracture. You choose to exercise in your own home, on your own equipment, without supervision. You assume those risks, including the risk that an exercise demonstrated in a video is not appropriate for your body.

By purchasing you agree this programme is general education, that you will use the modifications that match your situation, and that you accept the risks of unsupervised home exercise.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • get medical clearance when section 3 applies;

  • use the easiest modification until you are confident;

  • stop at once if you have pain, dizziness, chest pain, faintness, or unusual shortness of breath;

  • avoid any movement your clinician has told you not to do, even if it appears in a video;

  • keep your exercise space clear and use stable support where shown.

6. No guarantees

We do not promise that these programmes will increase bone density, prevent fracture, cure or treat osteoporosis or osteopenia, or be safe for every viewer. Results vary. Exercise is only one part of bone health and is not a substitute for medical care, medication your physician has prescribed, or in-person rehabilitation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MelioGuide Limited, its directors, and presenters are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of the videos, except where liability cannot be excluded (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Where liability can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid for the specific programme that gave rise to the claim.

8. Not a consumer-rights waiver

Nothing in these terms takes away mandatory rights you have as a consumer under Irish or other applicable law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Courts of Ireland have jurisdiction, without limiting any non-waivable consumer rights you may have in your country of residence.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The version dated on this page, and named in the checkout box you ticked, is the version that applies to that purchase
