The Stronger Bones, Stronger Body • Beginner workout video is ideal for people new to exercise who want to safely improve their bone health.

This is a video streaming service and not a DVD.

You can do all of the workouts the comfort and privacy of your home, and at your pace and as frequently as you like. 

Each workout session is easy to follow, includes detailed explanations and demonstrations, and requires minimal setup and equipment.

                FAQs

                Does Stronger Bones, Stronger Body have all of the exercises in Exercise for Better Bones?

                No. Stronger Bones, Stronger Body has some of the exercises found in Exercise for Better Bones and is for the active adult who wants an exercise workout routine that they can follow at home. Exercise for Better Bones is a “prescribed” osteoporosis exercise program. You can find the videos for many of the exercises on the page Osteoporosis Exercise Plan.

                Are the exercises on Stronger Bones, Stronger Body appropriate for everyone with osteoporosis?

                Stronger Bones, Stronger Body is designed for the beginner adult who wants a safe exercise workout that keeps them active and independent. All of the exercises are safe for someone with osteoporosis and there are no contraindicated exercises.

                Should I do the exercise sessions in sequence or should I repeat one of the sessions until I “master” it and then move to the next session?

                Each session is about 35 minutes in length and represents your workout for the day. I recommend that after you do your Day 1 exercise that you move on (the next day or several days after depending on your schedule and recovery time) to Day 2 and then to Day 3 and then start again at Day 1. Each session is designed to address different areas and and to get the most of the video, you should enjoy the variety of Day 1 through Day 3.

                If you find specific exercises too challenging I recommend less demanding versions of the exercise for you to follow.

                Do I need special equipment or need to go to a gym for Stronger Bones, Stronger Body?

                The exercise workout are designed for you to follow at home. No need to go to a gym. You will need some equipment. See the list below.
